Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. has established a method for simultaneous determination of total hydrocarbons and non methane total hydrocarbons in ambient air using gas chromatography with a dual column dual hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID). The total hydrocarbon and methane content in the samples collected at the sampling point were determined, and the calculated mass concentration of non methane total hydrocarbons was less than 1.0mg · m-3.
