The current methods for determining and analyzing methanol, acetaldehyde, acrolein, and acrylonitrile include HJ/T 33-1999 Determination of Methanol in Exhaust Gas from Stationary Sources by Gas Chromatography, HJ/T 35-1999 Determination of Acetaldehyde in Exhaust Gas from Stationary Sources by Gas Chromatography, HJ/T-36 Determination of Acrolein in Exhaust Gas from Stationary Sources by Gas Chromatography, and HJ/T 37-1999 Determination of Acrylonitrile in Exhaust Gas from Stationary Sources by Gas Chromatography.
This standard is applicable to the determination of methanol emissions from fixed pollution sources, both organized and unorganized. When the injection volume of the chromatography is 1.0 ml, the detection limit of the method is 2 mg/m3, calculated as 3 times the noise chromatographic peak height. The concentration range for quantitative determination is 5.0-104 mg/m3.
